COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The latest in the innovative seasonal range from the famous ‘witch brewer’, Black Moss (4.9%) takes its name from an ancient derelict cottage discovered only last year – complete with mummified cat – in the shadow of brooding Pendle Hill. Tasting notes describe the brew as: ‘Classic dry stout ale, black and full bodied with a rich creamy head. Fine roasted rich coffee and chocolate aromas … rounded with traditional English Challenger and Goldings hops’.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Black beer with a small bubbly beige head. Malty licorice aroma, chocolate, hoppy bitter notes, floral, some cocoa. Chocolate flavor, toffee, caramel, roasted, cocoa powder, sweet licorice, roasted, figs, raisins, mint, candy notes, some bitterness. Chocolate finish, caramel, some perfume and roasted notes. On the sweet side but well done.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A pitch black with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel,c and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spices, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

From cask at Charlies. Pours dark brown with a deep amber glare and a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish to chocolate. Toasted malty, vague smoked accent, chocolate and dark roasted breadish. Roasted and dry malty finish.
