Moorhouse’s Blond Bitch has a thick, off-white, somewhat creamy head, an opaque, gold-orange appearance, with lots of orange-tan chunks floating about, and very little lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of possibly old or aged, sweet malt, clover honey, mild hop resin, and ever-so-slightly turned light fruit (like dates). Taste is of initial hop bitterness, with sugar crystal sweetness, white bread, cellar mold, light fruits, and biscuit. There is even a grass component. Mouthfeel is medium, and Moorhouse’s Blond Bitch finishes wet and fairly easy drinking. Well, this is a different sort of thing, here. RJT

From the 500 ml. bottle labeled BB-L2177-07:56. US bottle. The pour is golden yellow with a quick lasting fizzy white head. Above average clarity. Not a whole of character on the nose. Maybe some toasted biscuit malts, corn, and grassy hops. Smells more like an American Pale Lager. The body is light and refreshing. The taste does bring out a former more bitter ho[p bite that ends on the dry side. A bit of a recovery there but overall pretty average.

Hazy blond color with a thin frothy white head. Decent head retention. Pale malt aroma with some earthy and herbal hops. The taste is pale malts, herbal hops, faint toastiness. Thin-medium bodied.

Golden apples, nectarine, and floral hops. Pale gold with a mostly lasting, off-white head. Off-dry. Light body, low carbonation, smooth, and not too exciting.

Bottle, pours a medium yellow, aroma is earthy, flavour is interesting its kind of got that cherry taste english, kind of got a stale hop flavour, I think my bottle may have been old. I would give it another chance but this one wasn’t enjoyable, it was a drain pour for me

Bottle pours a hazy amber with a tiny off white head. Scent is fruity. Taste is as well.

Slightly hazy gold, small, quick head, white. Scent is mildly floral, citrus, sweet fruits. Taste is sweet (and sour), mild bitter.sugars....slight hop in aftertaste. A little earthy/farmhouse action. A Pretty nice little beer. Someone remarked it was sort of a saison-lite......I’ll buy that.

US market only...damn it fooled again. For some reason I was expecting a bitter. Golden yellow, hazy, fine suspension. Floral and sugar aroma...clearly going to be sweet. In fact, it’s a bit too sweet. Flushing finish, not much aftertaste. Someone add a non-blurred image of the bottle; it’s the best made part of the product.

Big 17oz bitch in a brown bottle. First taste is somewhat old lager. Looks a little less hazy than a hefe. Easy going even with old flavors. Rather laid back but enough personalaity to let you know its beer. I’d like to taste thgis fresh. Perhaps they dumped all the old blond witch to the US market, heheh. Some light pilsner bite on the finish.

Bottle from Hi Time. Pours hazy orange amber with a slight, fizzy/creamy off-white head. Aroma is mostly floral, but there’s a suggestion of apricot. Med body. Flavor is immediately light stone fruit, but there’s some florality in the mix. This could well be a fruity ESB. Finishes fruity, and hoppy in the floral sense. It seems quite well balanced. It is delicious.
