3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle from B&M Bargains, Glasgow (£1.39):
This one from Mourhouse’s Brewery was a fairly average offering if I’m honest, a drinkable beer that was okay but it’s certainly not one worth seeing out nor would it be one that I’d be likely to pick up again.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
From B&M. Hazy gold. Messy, bubbly, white head. Sweet, phenolic thing happening. Holy shit, this is rank. It’s sweet and bitter in all the wrong places, at the wrong time. Sink bound.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: Clear amber with cm thick white head which was quick to disappear.
Aroma: Bread/biscuit, raisin hint, floral, pepper.
Taste: low sweetness, low/medium sourness and medium bitterness.
Palate: thick smooth texture, light body, average carbonation, lingering malty bitter, peppery finish.
Comments: tasty but nothing special, just an easy session beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Light carbonation and lacing. Bland aroma of lemon, grain and faint caramel. Boring but drinkable - flavour of musty lemon and straw. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. Not a great beer by any means, but certainly better than their Pendle Witches Brew.
