3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Martin243 (487) - Tyne & Wear, - AUG 29, 2011500 ml Bottle, cold. Pours amber with a dense white head. I get Garibaldi biscuits, and a lovely balance of malty flavour with hop bitterness; Sometimes you wish a "balanced" beer would committ itself, but with this stuff, it feels more like co-operation than compromise. Really nice beer, but I wouldn’t call it a "Strong Ale"

Bottle from B&M Bargains; reddy brown pour with tight off white head, fruit and malt aroma, taste is a bit grassy and skunky with weighty malts and caramel nut brittle in the background.

Slightly cloudy golden ale with next to no head. Tasty fruits are evident throughout with a slightly biscuit texture to it.

Overly sweet, especially for what's described on the label as "light...soft...crisp." The invert sugar adjunct is very noticeable. There's a little spiciness to help combat the treacle sweetness but no head to suggest the carbonic acid bite that would provide greater balance. I can't imagine having more than one of these.

Bottle. Hazy (the wheat malt) copper beer with good head (again the wheat). Interesting taste. More sweet than bitter, and I think it is light caramel malts providing a honey-ish flavor. Not much in the way of his, but maybe some spice and fruit from the yeast. I could easily guzzle this, so easily it goes down.

500ml bottle. Orange amber colour, thin white head and a sweet citrusy malt aroma. Flavour is malty, with some biscuit, bread and a sweetish fruity caramel note. Medium body, smooth mouth feel, light bitterness level. Quite OK.

Amber, thin head. Fruity nose, some berries. The sweetness from the malt comes out. Not a lot of perceived bitterness. Prickly carbonation leads to a pretty good mouthfeel.

Bottled 08/12/12. A copper coloured beer with a tiny white ring of head. A fruity beer. A bit rubbery and some of the flavours are a bit astringent. Obvious pasteurization. Not special.

Slightly hazy honey-amber with an iced-tea-like head.
Aroma is caramel malt, bread heel.
Taste is much the same with a sllight bit of hop presence.
Slightly vegetal tones, but not too off-putting.
A decent little ale.

16.9oz bottle. Mostly hazy orange color. Thin white head. Decent lace. Medium body. Light hoppy malty flavor, little skunk. Smoother malty flavor. little skunk. Smoother carbonation. Light bitter taste. Little wierd bite. Aroma is maybe yeast, bread, light citrus hops. Little funky, hint of cheese maybe. Doughy might be a better way to put it. Not bad, honestly. But not for me..
