Cask (Cambridge Winter Ale Festival 2011)
Light orange. Not getting a huge aroma, to be honest. Has some of the aromas of more amber caramelly ales, but without too much sugary sweetness. Honey I guess. Soft smooth palte, carbonation low. Mostly malty body, and with a sweet finish. Really enjoyed it, but I think I’ve had better.

On tap at Oliver Twist in Stockhom. It poured a hazy golden liquid that cleared up, minimal white head. Mild flavour of pale bread and some milk/lactos. Smooth mouthfeel and light body. To mild for my taste, could use more hops and malt.

Cask (gravity) - The Fat Cat, Norwich. Poured a clear, golden orange with a one finger, bubbly & doming white head. Caramel, yeast and some orangey mid fruits on the aroma. An orange sweetness and tang on the tongue, more yeast and a bit of earthiness. Light to medium body, soft on the palate with a short bittersweetness to the finish. A bit muddy in general but still drinkable.

Gold with stable head. Mild, gin-like hop character in the aroma. Spicy with bright coriander and other herbs. A pleasantly hopped session beer.

Cask at the Plough & Harrow (JDW) in Hammersmith. Golden-brown with a malty toffee nose and a hint of spice, then a sweetish malty, soft and peppery body, finishing with a gentle herby bitterness and a touch of honeydew melon.
