Cask, gravity, straight from the cask at local club. Excellent condition. Light golden with white head. This is a great session beer and very mooreish, a bit light in colour may put some off but not a citrus beer but a hoppy bitter. Ive had this before years ago in Lancashire and was not impressed but this was amuch better.

Cask at OT. Nice head for a cask beer. Light malty aroma with some flower/hops. Thin body with some bitterness and more hop taste.

Cask, Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Golden with an off-white head. Aromas are biscuit and citrus with tea. Peppery with some floral notes. Flavours are biscuit malts with yeast. Dry with a peppery palate. Grapefruit pith bitterness on the finish with a dry aftertaste. Hints of soapiness. Tasty for its strength.

Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Copper with a white head. Well balanced and hoppy. A good session bitter.

From cask at the sir John Moor. Pours clear orange with a small white head. Vague fruity ad malty aroma. Light toasted malty flavour with a distinct dryness. Light bitter and dry finish with a mild malty base flavour.

A Mes rate: cask at the Crosse Keys ’Sporks.
Golden brown with a thin white head. Bland as hell on the nose but thankfully inoffensive. Sadly the same can not be said of the flavour. Awful tea and unbrewed malt with a raw fruity note in the finish. Boring as hell and just what the CamRA geeks would go for. Typically bland English dullness.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wetherspoons Milton Keynes A golden beer with a whitish head. A slightly tired hoppy aroma. The taste has some hops but odd pineapple notes. Simple and disappointing

Blonde pour, decent head. Mild tasting ale with a decent bitter finish. A smidge of hops, average really.

[Cask handpull at Wetherspoons, Milton Keynes] Amber with creamy white head. Soft, easy drinking beer. A bit of straw dust, a bit of fruit, but pretty bland and boring. c5
