An exceptionally fine balance of malt and hops give this beer a long dry and extremely satisfying finish.

Cask at the working mens club in Poynton for me noodles 30th. I suspect this could be better, everything in there was proper shite. Gold amber with a thick white-ish head. Can’t smell, nose problems. Flavour is citrus with a hoppy finish. Would like to try again, toss quality pint.

Blonde pint, decent mildly herbal hop flavour, light finish. Alright without being remarkable.

14th July 2008. Smooth ale. Slightly creamy. Mild hops give a little tangyness. Respectable and inoffensive.

Cask at Oliwer Twist in April 2009. The beer smelled a bit of fruit and perfume, the taste was mild and boring artificial. The beer seemed a bit "dead". Not the best out there.

Cask, Kings Head, Carlisle. Light brown in appearance, sweetish, slightly toffee like flavour, with pears also evident. Reasonably refreshing and light tasting.

Cask, Stork Hotel Birkenhead. Light amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma had citrus notes with a definite hint of glue. Good lace. Flavour was quite bright and fruity, with some good hoppage. Medium bitter finish. Not too shabby.
