Gravicask at the National Winter Ales Festival. Bright amber coloured body. Naked at the top. Malt-fruity nose. Dried fruity taste with hints of almond and caramel, rather jam-like. Good bitter finish. Likable (Manchester, 23.01.2013).

Gravity cask at Bree Louise. Dark amber, clear, small white head. Body is medium to light, smooth. Taste is malty, woody, semisweet, touch of metal and vinegar.

Cask black rock wakefield. Amber beer good white head lacing. Aroma is malty. Taste is sweet biscuit malts caramel light bitterness. Medium body soft carbonated. Ok stuff.

Cask at The Old Black Bull, Preston. Pours clear amber, thick white head. Light malt aromas, light citrus and biscuit. Taste is creamy and smooth, but eminently forgettable. Solid session bitter, nothing more.

Cask. Light amber ale with a thick cream head. Light honeycomb nose with a lemony note. Taste is lemons, sugarcane and sugarpuffs. A little bitterness balancing with the sugars. Pleasant but boring.

Clear golden amber with a decent off white covering that retains well.
Nose is caramel, straw, fruit rind, a touch thin.
Taste comprises demerera sugar, light spice, toffee, grain, biscuit.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with low level bitterness.
So so, blandometer rising through yellow on this one!
