3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2012 Cask. Half pint. 5.Jul.2012
My first beer after a pleasant and interesting walk with Rune & Stefan to The Crescent in Salford, Manchester. I decided to start the day with White Which because of the name, as I loved watching Narnia when I was little. It turned out to be a good choice. Clear yellow body with spare creamy head. Cheese, sweat, damp basement and mold to the nose. Thus the taste was a surprise, sweet and malty, some grain, vanilla, flowers and hint of herbs. Surprisingly full bodied!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Via Handpump. Cross Keys, Handsworth, Centre of the Universe. 4.5%. In the Snug, in front of a raging hot solid fuel stove, with the dog for company. All of which makes a dire beer that smells of apple juice, a lot more drinkable than it might have been. That jukebox bollocks needs sorting out, mind you. Two pints Tom wouldn’t have put up with that shite...
