50cl swingtop. Hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Nose is wheaty, light banana, light bread and yeast. A little on the sweet side, mild banana, a dash of something acidic. Lightly spiced. Somewhat watery, light. Eh.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 500 ml latch top bottle. Light golden, initially sparkiling, but settling to hazy with a bubbly white head. Aroma of bananas and cloves, Flavor is fruity with some bubble gum sweetness. Not much balance and leaning towars cloying. Mouthfeel is spritzy, yet creamy at the same time. Not very estery - too tart overall.

Light orange colored, cloudy appearance. Big white head. Aroma has banana and good spices, mild yeast there too. Medium bodied. Flavor is not as good as aroma: of course banana and yeast there, missing some spiciness. Somehow dry ending with crispy mouthfeel.

pours light yellow sparkling, rocky white head. Aroma malty, bread, and grain, lightly hoppy citrus, and leathery yeast tones. Flavor is balance leaning to the bitter side, finish is predominatly bitter and short, bannanas esters are apparent. Light to medium bodied, watery and livly carbonated. Clean finish good balance.

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a nice, NICE head and so-so lacing. Aroma is bubblegum and clover. Flavor is a bit of clover and banana, with a mix of bubblegum. Watery mouthfeel. Doesn’t separate itself from the pack. Average.

slightly hazy gold with a huge foamy head. aroma isn’t that impressive. smells grainy and boring. only the slightest hint of banana and spice. flavor is better but not as tasty as some. more spiced(clove) than banana flavors. average.

Flip top bottle marked use before 10/06. Appearance was a huge frothy, fizzy white head that mostly diminished, lackluster lacing, hazy, and a hue of light yellow. The nose was sweet, banana, clove, citrus and a note of spiceynes. The flavor was sweet, light spice, some banana and a hint of clove. Smooth mouthfeel. Light body. An easy drinking brew as it goes down almost too easy. Worth a try.

Flip top bottle served in a weizen glass: Poured a hazy golden hue with a lasting frothy head and good lace. The aroma has the nice components of banana, clove, and bubblegum esters. A touch citric and wheat vapors as well. The taste is lightly spiced, fruity and wheaty. A solid combination but lack in the quality of depth of the best of genre. There is a note of refreshing twang on the palate. A solid bier and worthy of a try.

Nothing like a good Hefe on a hot summer day, and this will do just fine. With frothy malts with fruits and cloves.

bottle. Aroma: More clove than banana here, although both are noticeable. Grainy wheat and some light citrus. Appearance: Slightly hazy and pale yellow in color. Head was big, but didn’t look as ’mousse-y’ as it should have. Didn’t last long, either. Flavor: Again, the clove jumps out. It isn’t intense, it just seems so compared to the rest of the weak flavors. Light banana, lemon, vanilla, and grainy wheat. Palate: Medium-light bodied and watery. High carbonation. Finish was watery, as well. Overall: Not a good example of the style and not a good beer. Weak, watery, and without any of the interesting flavors I look for in a weiss.
