(50cl bottle, best by 3/07) Large frothy white head atop lightly hazed straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, clove, some lemon, faint banana. Taste is mild, medium sweet, bread, light banana. Watery light body.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Slightly hazy, big rocky "dirty" head, visible carbonation; distinctive wheaty/yeasty and citrus-fruity nose, also; almost a bit bitter and tart; moderate sweetish flavour; citrus-fruit, again, in the finish, followed by some faint "hoppy" tartness. A refreshing, well made Weizen...........

(swing top bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a big floamy yellow head. Sweet, slightly wheaty and fruity (ripe orange, banana) aroma with light notes of cloves. Light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Wheat-, and also a bit barley-malty taste with citrus and banana; slim, slightly sweet, minimal acidic finish with only shy notes of cloves, which I appreciate. Drinkable but surely not outstanding.

Great wheaty aroma, banana esters with a bit of light cloves, reminiscent of Paulaner, actually - more spicy than citrusy. Cloudy amber gold with huge white rocky head - huge lacing. Medium watery body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts dry and spicy with dusty wheat maltiness, more like a wit than a hefeweizen. Not quite peppery, but quite spicy and dry bitter with a bit of banana and cloves at the end. Finish is dry and bitter with mild citrus oil. Chalky dry after.

From a ceramic-lidded flip-top, this poured entirely foam at first which very slowly settled into a moderately active orange-yellow brew. The aroma is exceptionally stark and citric and over-the top sweet ... the combined effect of the giant white foam and the sugary-sweet aroma is almost like a sink full of freshly suds’d lemon dish soap. After the citurs on-slaught on my nasal passages, the first swallow is suprisingly starchy. The mouthfeel is much lighter than the prototypical Weissbiers, no yeasty doughiness here. Instead, this is a crisp, only lightly fruity, almost Pilsner-y beer. (#2726, 2/25/2007)

Bottle - swing-top 500mL. Translucent amber with a tall receding white head. Light spice, banana, soft honey, sea spray, yeast and bubblegum. Taste is wheat, light yeast, bubblegum, fruits and more sea spray. Something different about this hefeweizen. Body is creamy but very bubbly. Lots of carbonation to this but it’s typical for the style. Rather light feel as well. Ends with more fruits notes, wheat, yeast, and soft spice. Not too bad!

Swingtop bottle 50cl - Pours golden with a big airy white head that fades back to a ring but leaves lace. Aromas of bannana, lots of yeasty notes, and a whiff of clove. Flavor is quite sweet with notes of bannana, bread, yeast, clove, and even a touch of bubblegum. Palate is light and well carbonated. Finish is lingeringly sweet. Crisp and easy to drink..

50cl swingtop. Hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Nose is wheaty, light banana, light bread and yeast. A little on the sweet side, mild banana, a dash of something acidic. Lightly spiced. Somewhat watery, light. Eh.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 500 ml latch top bottle. Light golden, initially sparkiling, but settling to hazy with a bubbly white head. Aroma of bananas and cloves, Flavor is fruity with some bubble gum sweetness. Not much balance and leaning towars cloying. Mouthfeel is spritzy, yet creamy at the same time. Not very estery - too tart overall.

Light orange colored, cloudy appearance. Big white head. Aroma has banana and good spices, mild yeast there too. Medium bodied. Flavor is not as good as aroma: of course banana and yeast there, missing some spiciness. Somehow dry ending with crispy mouthfeel.
