Cloudy dark gold, loose white head. Lemony, grape aroma. Lemony, grape like flavor, too. Perhaps a bit of dry white wine, and a peppery finish.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with a mid sized foamy white head. Peppery spiced aroma. Flavor is nice and light, but still lively. There isn’t as much banana as some hefes.

From a bottle poured a golden color with a good amount of head. Light spicy malty flavor with a quick finish.

Pours a slightly hazy dark golden yellow color with a MASSIVE frothy white head that takes forever to slowly fade into a lasting ring. Large chunks of soapy lacing left behind. Slightly spicy and earthy aroma with hints of light fruit, citrus and bready yeast. Grassy hops compliment the zesty spices(pepper, clove) up front followed by the yeast character and some lemon peel. All of these notes are here but are slightly muted. Subtle alcohol and light fruit. Medium bodied with lots of tight carbonation up front. The bread/yeast character is most prominent with hints of zesty spice, light fruit and citrus. Faint earthy hops up front are complimented by hints of pepper, clove and lemon zest. Kind of watered down and bland with everything just melding together and nothing standing out.

This is a good, solid Weiss and, although not one of my favorite styles, has a certain appeal to me because of its refreshing characteristics. It’s clean and somewhat light, and has a pleasant citrusy finish.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy yellow brown color. Clovey and peppery aroma, perfumy. Dryish clovey and peppery flavor with some grainy notes. A little banana, hint of tart lemon in finish.

(flip tp bottle) A pedestrian Weiss. Not bad, but nothing standout.

Deep golden orange pour. Thick white head. The aroma has a lot of clove and some slight malt oxidation that lends it a bit of sweetness. A bit of caramel and toast in addition to the light banana. A little bit of light marshmallow. Fairly light-bodied for the style. A touch tart, but not infected in any way. Lacks much character at all.

500ml fliptop from Country Club Liquors. Nose is wheat with light banana esters and hints of caramel and yeast. Clear yellow gold with a big pale yellow head. Flavor is light banana, pasty wheat, and a hint of white pepperiness.

Bottle from Total Wine. Pours a massive white head over a golden body. Aroma of creamy wheat and dry, dusty yeast. Lively carbonation and thin body. Flavors are along the grain variety. This is overall decent. Drinkable, but could be better with more body and flavor.
