Good hefe. Pours hazy yellow with medium white head. Similar aromas and flavors as other german hefes. Average brew nothing to write home about.

Swingtop from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Pours light gold with a 4-finger foamy white head. Aroma is difficult through all that foam, but banana is definite. Medium body with creamy/frothy carbonation. Flavor is wheaty and banana. Not a great deal of spice, but some lemon herb and possibly a touch of glove. A decent and very drinkable hefeweizen.

Swingtop from Duncan Murray Wines. Clear to murky apricot under a bright whip of foam. Banana candy cigarettes, lemon curd snout with a generous dose of clove and pepper. Sourish, yeasty and Belgian-like as the head subsides. Slight but pleasant with pepper, banana and coriander-ish spice, orange and pine. Distinct hint of dryness to finish I’m not sure really belongs in a hefe. Alright.

500ml swingtop. cloudy medium dark banana brown/yellow body, small white head. suitable nose, typical banana/clove/soap, medium to heavy yeast esters. texture medium to thin, chewiness is surprisingly low. lacks depth but doesn’t taste faulty at all, just simple. banana/clove/sugared wheat. fairly typical. i don’t believe this survives well in the bottle for however long it takes to import it and place it on the shelves.

very very sweet citrus favor on the nose. Definite banana smell as well cloudy yellow pour with a very frothy white head. Very well balanced beer. bread notes mixed evenly with banana. nothing to overly sweet. great slightly thick mouthfeel and a nice flavor lingering on the palate.

with a really sweet cirtusy aroma, this beer is extra thick and tastes nothing like a hefeweizen. not bad, but having this strong malty flavor coming from a german wheat beer doesn’t seem right. Bottle at some random supermarket by my house. This stuff is everywhere.

Bottle. Hazy orange brown with a large off-white head. Aromas are yeasty and peppery with caramel, light banana and surprising citrus. Flavours are citrus and yeast with lots of tart notes. Some sweet wheat with grapefruit bitterness and a dry finish. Different and decent.
