ROGUE (627), Newark, Delaware, USA Nov 11, 2009 12oz bottle. A nice, medium-bodied, drinkable brewski that is a good replacement for mass produced US lagers. A little light on the flavor side and a little watery, but definitely drinkable. Powertrip (183), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Nov 8, 2009 Quite a muted nose....hard time getting much here.. do I have a cold? Mouth is salt & pepper with the taste of hops but no bitterness...interesting! Finish is quite clean and does not linger. A little bit of salt post-drink. Nisse666 (321), Göteborg, Sweden Oct 25, 2009 Bottle, 2004-04-22 - watery Canadian lager, drinkable but not more then that.......... NJJereme (262), Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA Oct 24, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a golden color with a fair amount of carbonation w/ a light white head. Aroma of malts and a bit of skunk. A tinge of hoppy bitterness on taste. Light bodied. Goes down easily enough. Nothing remarkable. theteniron (9), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Oct 18, 2009 New brunswick’s own independent nice grassy canadian lager. if it’s cold ,for its style it has reasonably good character and taste. EHSRanders (1121), Randers C, Denmark Oct 10, 2009 Bottle. Clear golden colour with medium creamy white mostly diminishing head. Malty aroma. Sweet flavor. Bitter finish. Soonah (900), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Oct 6, 2009 Clear and gold with virtually no head. The aroma was grassy with corn and was somehow boozy. The flavor was medicinal and there was unpleasant alcohol. It’s weird that something this harmless would have such a weird alcohol flavor on the finish. Gorosaurus (10), Pennsylvania, USA Oct 5, 2009 A pretty tame beer by any standards, which I think proves its purpose. It goes down easy enough, but is also interesting to the tongue, for those who enjoy more complex brews than most mass-produced lagers.
Fairly sweet, with a nice aroma, Moosehead never fails to please as a relaxed, enjoyable brew. Will not knock anyone’s socks off, but in a good way. This is one to share!
