A smooth clean-tasting lager that offers a good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness

For what it is its decent. It doesnt taste bad and its better than Canadian, Coors, Blue etc. But still disappointing like most mass produced lagers in Canada. Not worth the price.

It’s a refreshing beer if one is thirsty. Nothing more, nothing less. Needs to be cold when drunken.

Tastes like it should be named after the other end of the moose. I had to wonder if the waitress farted in my beer. Really bad stuff. Had notes of eggs and tasted of coleslaw.

bottle. Clear and golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste of hop, grass and bit honey. A bit better than mainstream lagers.

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt. Flavour is malt, fruit, hint of hop. Watery body. Very boring beer.

Very light in color, faint straw highlights reveal that he is in fact a beer and not just some fizzy water. No head to speak of or any lace to please the eyes. His nose is surprisingly decent. Bread crust, white crackers, grassy undertones, lemon skin, and seltzeresque brightness. Wait a minute…I’ve smelled this before. But where? Oh yeah, I remember: in pretty much every standard lager that has been through the Kristyn taste test. Seeing as it’s the same-old nose, different beer, I move onto the beer beneath to find, unsurprisingly, the same-old standard lager palate. Random musing: since macro standard lagers are light to begin with, other than marketing and brand-reimaging, is there really any need for a “light” lager then? His palate is grainy and sweet bringing to mind sweet dinner rolls. In fact, as I quaff more, he’s a little too sweet, though that’s still better than skunked and funked any day. The sweetness of mowed green grass damp with dew flitters on by underneath the sweet breads while not even an afterimage lingers in his finish and that is all he wrote.

Meh. Nothing spectacular. As the saying goes, when you’ve had one, you’ve had them all. Or something like that.

Bottle from Voldby. Clear pale yellow with medium white head. Flavour is malt, sweet, fruit and a little bitter.
