2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ha1ag (609) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 7, 2010
Looks like a good lager, smells like a good lager, tastes like a good lager, so it is a damned good lager...
Pale light golden color, small white head. Grassy nose. More bodied than average lager. Sweet malts and soft hops define the finish.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 yngwie (8717) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 6, 2010
Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a small white head. Fruity and malty nose, very weak and uninteresting. Thin body and low carbonation. Pale malts and some fruity hops in the flavor, but as the aroma it’s boring. Short finish with the flavors found initially. A super-boring beer, can’t even say I find it particularly refreshing. 100806

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bif (529) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 6, 2010
Bottle- This beer has a light golden color with a decent head. It has a non descript aroma, not skunky. The taste is light and refreshing. It comes across smooth with no aftertaste. It’s a good beer anytime. I recommend this to people wanting to try something a bit different from usual macro rut.

From the bridge’s duty free store in Windsor, ON. I really enjoy Moosehead. The ideal pale lager. Smooth, but still some kick. One of my top 10 and that’s good for a pale lager on a list of malt liquors and belgians.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear yellow gold with a small creamy white head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a skunky wheat grass. Medium mouthfeel with a crisp malt with a crisp finish. Easy to drink, a decent pale lager from Moosehead.

Light straw color; Light to medium body; Aroma of malt, cereal, & grain; Flavor of slight sweet malt, hops, grain, and some caramel; Not too bland; Overall, quite decent lager.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 JoeAgain (62) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 17, 2010
A very lightly colored beer, pale yellow, with nice carbonation. Small, creamy head, that does last fairly long.
Grassy-hop nose, with some cereal grain in the background. Taste is a bit sweeter than the nose would indicate, but the hops are there preventing it from being cloying. The best of the Canadian lagers readily available here in the US.
Hats off, and some extra points to the brewery for remaining independant!
