Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 14, 2009 Green bottled skunk beer from our northern neighbors. Not a lot to say other than that. ansermadide (496), Kyle, Texas, USA Sep 13, 2009 Updated: Oct 31, 2009Sample from September 11, 2009 Beer Club Meeting. Wow, I can’t believe, in the run of great beers I’ve rated lately, that I’m rating Moosehead. Ah, well. Anyway, it was super clear, almost like a champagne. Head... well, there was a head. I think. Smells like something reminiscent from my past... freshman year of college, maybe? Flavor of an American lager. Sucky, actuallly. Like stale water. Spab (236), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 12, 2009 On tap. Pours a clear yellow gold with medium sized head. Nose of grass and corn. Similar notes in taste but with a bit of a bitter finish. Pretty underwhelming, but a step up from the Canadian macros. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Sep 12, 2009 (bottle). Clear gold color. Small white head. Skunky aroma. Grainy taste with light sweetness. Avg duration. Astringent finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Spare lacing. brenn79 (140), Idaho, USA Aug 31, 2009 bottle- FIRST DRINK- Skunky and disgusting, terrible. LAST DRINK- Believe it or not, it gets worse, this beer is as close as an unfinishable beer as i have tried, but of course i still finished it. poisoneddwarf (153), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA Aug 30, 2009 12 oz bottle. I imagine a skunk’s arsehole tastes somewhat like this. This is without a doubt one of the worst beers I’ve ever had, and definitely the worst beer I’ve rated since signing up on this website. mkel07 (494), Brisbane, Australia Aug 29, 2009 330ml bottle. Clear amber with a decent head of compacted foam and mild carbonation. Aroma of hay and hops, nothing outstanding. Light and dry in the mouth with a little bitterness and no aftertaste. Quite bland. dkachur (2317), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 26, 2009 12 ounce bottle from Farm Fresh in Virginia Beach, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Huge skunk in the aroma along with sweet corn. Taste is corn, sweet malts, a bit of skunk. No bitterness as the dcescription claims. Thin. Watery. Nothing to see here.
