COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth clean-tasting lager that offers a good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2009 Pretty much just a standard pale lager with not very much taste or smell. Very boring beer.

My college beer of choice back in the late eighties, this skunky, grassy pale lager was popular as it was a bit stronger at 5% and had more character than the crappy offerings from miller and AB. Didn’t remember how skunky the aroma was though and I"m glad there are so many better offerings now.

bottle from chad. reminds me of a heiniken, but better than heiniken to be sure. slight skunkyness, but that is to be expected from any beer resembling a heiniken.

Typical of Canadian lagers however it has a noticeable skunky aftertaste.. Pale yellow and light body.

Very poor aftertaste that lingers...skunky hoppy...but good. Best when its extemely cold. Horrible luke warm.

Light malt aroma with a lighter hop aroma. Pale yellow, small whitish head. Sweet with a very light bitterness. Not much flavor, light in every way. Not a bad beer for doing yard work or camping or if your friend brings it over and you’re forced to drink it.

Mouthfull of stick sweet corn flavor with tiny alcohol tinge/kick that comes in the back. At Beerfest Miami 09

Unfortunately my favorite part of this brew was the cool looking moose on the label. Light straw colored and watery corn notes are the highlight of this beer. Quenchable and clean finishing but there isnt anything in the way of substance here.
