madquacker (707), Canberra ACT, Australia Mar 11, 2007 An awful watery excuse for a beer. Marketing seems to be the name of the game with this. Head gone in a flash and a stale watery nothingness then takes over. Dire. At least the bad Oz beers have a nasty chemical aftertaste which is at least a taste (of something awful). This is a taste of noting at all! scotty (828), Scotland Mar 6, 2007 A retro rate, so I cant strictly rate the aroma, etc! My notes say " not a very pleasant beer at all, bland and not exported ( my label said it was a "Canadian export") but brewed in this country" Vic Wine had this listed again quite recently, but as I didn’t enjoy it the first few times I tried it I didn’t bother buying it again. rmussman (905), California, USA Mar 5, 2007 Probably one of my favorite supermarket beers. Fair price and a nice beer. Pours nice with a thin head. A nice pale color when poured ice cold. Goes down very smooth and has a fair flavor. FrankJohansen (3329), Sabro, Denmark Mar 3, 2007 Bottle. Clear yellow colour with a nice mostly lasting creamy head. Rich aroma and taste of roasted malts, hops and citrus. HenrikSoegaard (4263), Randers, Denmark Mar 2, 2007 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Light hoppy aroma with a touch of citrus. Light bitter flavor. Short bitter finish. Watery palate. saxo (3513), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Mar 2, 2007 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are hops and malt. onystrom (741), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark Mar 2, 2007 Clear pale yellow color with okay head. Some citrus hoppy flavor. Otherwise pretty ordinary. mabel (2530), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 28, 2007 [209-20070217] Tap @ Rose&Crown (Toronto, ON). Typical faint doughy yeast aroma. Clear, light orange body with medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Same doughy yeast in flavour. Light-medium body, good smoothness. Good to repeat, nothing wowy, great pairing with pub shepherd’s pie.
