twindadplus2 (408), Wisconsin, USA Sep 11, 2006 Clear Golden color, fizzy white head. Corn and slight malt aroma. Flavor is grain, and sweet malt with a slight acidity that I’d attribute more to alcohol than hops. Decent enough (if rather boring) for what it is but not worth going out of your way for. scanman (146), Santa Cruz, California, USA Sep 4, 2006 This might have been the first beer I ever drank (sipped actually). I remember the skunkiness and the malt. I tried it again recently, and was nicely impressed. Damn green bottles need replacement but this was a pretty mellow brew. There is actually a little spice, citrus in there somewhere. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 4, 2006 Pale gold body with a white head. Sweet and cornish based aroma. Taste is sweet and grainy. Rather bland ending. starfireming (309), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 1, 2006 Clear goldy colour, white head. Corny aroma with some malt. Weak taste, not bad but not great. Corn aftertaste. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 1, 2006 Clear pale yellow body with a small creamy white head. Sweet honey and grassy hops aroma. Slightly grainy flavor, some grassy hops, and a hint of honey. RaginCajun (284), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 1, 2006 An okay American-style lager. There is no skunk and it goes down smooth with a (very small) hint of malt and hop. It is in the top end of the trash beers, but at least you know you are drinking a beer. This is like the missing link between chimps and humans; not quite a good beer, but not a freakin’ monkey beer either. sirsirus (60), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Aug 28, 2006 A citrusy aroma, high carbonation and a light body make this a fairly simple straight forward lager. However unlike Molson and Labatt there is no skunk, the taste is light and crisp and the finish just smooth and clean enough. A decent brew. TechMyst (166), Fox River Grove, Illinois, USA Aug 21, 2006 15 years ago my friends and I always thought this was 8% ABV so we would get past the nasty tase because we thought we were drinking more alcohol...silly us I guess...
