UPDATED: MAY 31, 2008 Once again the curse of the green bottle! Skunked beer. If you can find some that has been kept out of contact with light it is a fine transition from American macros toward craft brewed beer. Light flavor but nicely hopped. Used to drink this at the local tavern where it was stored properly and it was quite good.
Update: Tried it recently and other than the usual skunk aroma, it was very tasty indeed. Richer hop character than I remembered. Good balance, easy drinker.

Not a good beer at all, appearance was weak and the aroma was gnarly. At times i kept forgetting to drink my beer which is sad. I expected more but was disappointed.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2008 Bottle - very light. OK. Clean, not much flavor. Better than most US made lagers, though.

From a beers of the world mix pack, thoughtful xmas gift. Skunked, oh yes, even the bottle that came from the closed case, so it must be light struck from before packaging... fun. Light malt flavor, hops faint, but there. Kinda tastes like skunked breakfast cereal.

Pours clear yellow. Aroma is slight skunk, but it goes away pretty quickly. Lots of carbonation. Flavor is light and one dimensional, but not offensive. Not a good beer by any stretch, but it doesn’t have the off flavors that make most of it’s brethern undrinkable.

Blah. This is awful, eh? I know truly know what skunky aroma is. I didn’t before. I just associated it with a bad aroma. This beer actually smelled like skunk (my dog’s been sprayed by them). Pour was a decent bubbly light gold with a 2 finger white head. Taste was very watery and very metallic. Tasted like pennies.

Light golden with a moderate head. The beer has a lot of carbonation and grows in your mouth. The flavour is thin with light notes of caramel and a very light bitterness. Uncomplicated and quenching, but without any flavour worth mentioning.
