Sputerbug (112), Nacogdoches, Texas, USA Jul 25, 2006 12 oz bottle .pours a light golden with a white head.Aromas of sweet malt and hops are present.A sweet malty taste that is taken over slightly by the hops.A little off balanced but still when ice cold it gets the job done. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 23, 2006 Draught. Short white head. Clear golden body. Weak hops aroma. Thin body with a relatively sweet flavor without much bitterness. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA Jul 20, 2006 A very typical lager. Pours mild yellow with a medium head. A run of the mill summer beer. Not great but not bad. JohnnyJ (1283), Carlsbad, California, USA Jul 14, 2006 Easy to drink, fairly refreshing, but not very good. Skunky and little flavor. LOL lordbeamish... I have to comment on you since you commented on someone else. There is definitely a canadian ass flavor to this beer. If you cant taste it you need to get out more. LordBeamish (144), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Jul 13, 2006 Updated: Feb 9, 2007Yummy! Ice cold, this goes down smooth and refreshingly. Nice aroma and distinct flavour. Lager lovers will enjoy this one while catching some summer rays. Btw, what the hell is a ’Canadian’ taste???? (see rating two down from me) I think it’s called ALCOHOL my American friends. KingofCastle (202), London, Ontario, Canada Jul 11, 2006 Here we go, another pale lager that hits home: definite sweetness in the taste, slight hops, slight malt, very slight bitterness, and what a finish - very smooth. What a refreshing, summer beer should be. Of course there are heavier, more flavourful beers out there, but this is a pale lager so take it for what it is. (Side vent: why are so many people on this site roasting pale lagers for lack of body?! It’s like visiting the Maratimes & complaining there is too much water, or complaining that pretzles are too salty, etc.). If you want an easy-drinking yet flavourful beer, then fresh Moosehead is a winner. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA Jul 7, 2006 Canadian lager. Has a ’Canadian’ taste--- --> see Labatt and Molson and taste what I mean. I thought it was going to be worse, but it is a typical lager with nothing to bring to the table. WVUer28 (7), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA does not count Jul 6, 2006 This was the first beer I tried that I actually liked when I started drinking.
Has a unique toasted flavor. Not necessarily a clean palate, but enjoyable.
