TexasAggie12 (64), Burnet, Texas, USA May 17, 2006 yellow color pour with little head. a little sweet corn aroma but not much there. Nice hops taste at first then finishes with a sweet malted flavor. Not bad but not the best either. I personally would drink miller instead. GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland May 17, 2006 [bottle from Bier Halle] Fizzy, yellow, grainy, skunked, cereals. very faint hop character, not enough to save this from being a crap pale lager. nigredo (28), Santiago de Chile, Chile May 14, 2006 330 cc can.
Mid-size white head. It gets smaller till vistually disapear. Very little lacing.
Filtered, yellow beer. Artificial carbonatation.
There’s almost no aroma. Maybe citric traces.
Smoothy bitter taste, sweet aftertaste.
Tiny body, like water.
Alcohol almost well disguised.
There’s no way to do much more with ingredients like corn! blanstuf (16), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 5, 2006 The first challenge was opening it because the edges of the cap were in far. Then I got it opened and the second challenge came... not dumping it out due to its rancid smell. Overcoming the smell, I tasted it and it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. I wouldn’t recommend it but I wouldn’t stop anyone from drinking it either. Oycpff (93), USA Apr 28, 2006 Very light lager, very little taste. Has much going for it in the way of crispness and light hop presence for a smooth finish. Sure it may be swill Macro beer, but as far as green bottle battles.....it kicks the shit outta Heineken as most of them are skunky crap sinkhole (176), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Apr 25, 2006 Pours clear, light yellow with white head. Aroma is sweet corn with bit of skunkiness. Bitter hop flavour at the end follwed by skunky aftertaste. missmorenita (4), charlotte, North Carolina, USA does not count Apr 15, 2006 It’s a refreshing lager taste, a good beer to grab when you are not sure what you want and do not want anything that is over-powering in either direction. Really good bitter vs sweet balance Saarlander (1577), Saarlouis, Germany Apr 11, 2006 A lager is still a lager, but I can often get it at a good price, and it has some bitterness and flavor. Friends who drink macro swill will drink this too, so at least I get a little better of a beer.
