patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 11, 2006 bottle - There isn’t much to say about this beer. It’s yet another mass market pale lager. Think Budweiser, except in my opinion it’s a little bit more flavorful. It’s still a fizzy, yellow, watery beer though. EithCubes (2140), Indiana, USA Mar 9, 2006 Bottled. Green bottle, skunked smell. Yellow. Aroma is malty and slightly sour. Light and mildly sweet taste of flowers. Thin and inoffensive. Better than most in this category, not a terrible choice for a nachos or (in my case) enchiladas. beerdrinker101 (56), USA Mar 7, 2006 When I opened this beer the smell was pretty skunky, so I was expecting it to taste the same. Surprisingly this beer wasnt half bad. canary dog (441), Rutland, Vermont, USA Mar 5, 2006 I found this in my fridge, my buddy left it there. I can’t believe I haven’t rated it yet. It pretty much sucks, but I would take it over Bud or Mich or Coors or Rolling Rock or Miller (maybe not Miller).
XtraStout (46), Alberta, Canada Mar 1, 2006 This has long been my favorite mainstream Canadian lager. It has a smooth taste that goes down good in any season. Is it a Guinness? No. But I never expected it to be. Goes good with any meal and beats out any mainstream swill by a mile. Has a decent head and a nice finish. The best part: nice crisp taste. Keep well refrigerated. chargerfanjess (116), San Diego, California, USA Feb 27, 2006 Pale straw very clear skunky flavor background. Not real good, not much flavor other than skunk, slight malt, beter than American macros but not much andrewfriesen (23), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Feb 27, 2006 One of the better piddly lagers out there. Not much to it. Keep it really cold. TBone (6675), Pori, Finland Feb 25, 2006 Bottled (BB 06/2006)
Pale golden color, small white head. A bit skunky, grassy hoppy nose. Light to medium bodied. Sweet malty, even a bit sugary, some distant hops.
