kingfiogojr (78), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Feb 24, 2006 Pours golden yellow with mild white head. Smells of toasted malts, tastes of mellow malty lagerness with just a hint of bitterness. Beats the hell out of any mass market lagers, and has a clean crisp texture that goes down well and leave satisfied.
awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA Feb 19, 2006 Updated: Sep 4, 2008From a 12oz Bottle. Pale yellow coloring with an even frothy white head. Back to nature aroma of skunk is instantly present and causes me flashbacks of washing my dog in tomato juice. Not off to a good start, and it doesn’t get much better from here. Definite "green bottle" syndrome going on here. The defining flavor of a beer should never be an off flavor. Pinnhead (93), New Jersey, USA Feb 19, 2006 bottled. pours beer colored. not unflavorful but generic as any mass produced hopy drink. does have a decent bitterness to it and was ’imported’ to us while in college. beerbill (1920), Laurel, New York, USA Feb 19, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Nothing fancy going on here. Pours a clear golden yellow with a white head. Very light sweet aroma. Goes down easy. A decent beer, especially when consumed in volume. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA Feb 8, 2006 Extra clear golden with some little floaters. Sweet skunk nose. Sweet skunk flavor with some malt. Crisp finish. Clean. DuffMan (2723), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Feb 6, 2006 My second beer following my return to Canadian soil! Truly average at best, but satisfying in a comfort-food kind of way. JRHBrew (217), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Feb 5, 2006 None of the beers brewed at Moosehead stand out, are particularly good, aren’t skunky, etc. If you are going to drink crap, choose Moosehead. It is yet to let me down! biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Feb 5, 2006 Ehhh this is one of those beers you might think is really good if you didn’t know anything about beer (see: Heineken). Had this last night... I’d take Yueng given the choice.
