UPDATED: NOV 18, 2007 12oz bottle. Killed a case of this by accident with my friend Paul Jeffrey. This pale lager is smooth and easy to drink. After about the 7th or 8th one it begins to develop a funky aftertaste....somewhat resembling a bad belgian ale. decent beer for drinking.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jblendy (519) - Hawthorne, New Jersey, USA - APR 11, 2007
Pours clear golden with a small white foamy head. Grassy, skunky aroma. Bland lightly grassy and skunky hop flavor, with a light watery malt profile. Palate is light/medium, a bit watery, with no real finish to speak of.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2009 Call a spade a spade, it’s a beer and not a terrible one! Hits the spot when cold, but a bit overpriced here in Ireland. Note 2009. I need to rerate this beer.

One of my earlier exposures to beer, it was also one of the better ones. Compared to most american major brands, moosehead is a big improvement. It’s hard to find the taste, but it is there. On tap, not much head, watery, a hint of malt, some hops, nothing really otherwise of note.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 k9coug (64) - USA - APR 3, 2007
Just a step above the 16oz cans at the cheap end of the aisle in a major supermarket. Watered down taste. It’s price has dropped over time relative to inflation, as its quality has gone down.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 almosi (280) - Viña del Mar, CHILE - MAR 18, 2007
(in can – supermarket in Chile).
Aroma to masses and herbs, something strong the hop, when the can is opened.
Yellow very pale, slightly cloudy color. Small head with sufficient cord. Lightly it is bitter, with a slightly sweet end. (The sweet attachés). It is a light medium beer. It is possible to drink without big problems, but one does not remember it later.

Very pale colour with a decent head. Watery taste, but VERY refreshing. Mild carbonation. Overall, typical macrobrewry beer but a nice one to buy at the bar.

An awful watery excuse for a beer. Marketing seems to be the name of the game with this. Head gone in a flash and a stale watery nothingness then takes over. Dire. At least the bad Oz beers have a nasty chemical aftertaste which is at least a taste (of something awful). This is a taste of noting at all!
