For a Moosehead beer this is actually pretty enjoyable and badass. I can taste aspects from all of the hops in this handsome golden blonde beer with lascivious lacing; tangerine, white grapefruit, pine, herbal earthiness and light spice all coalesce quaintly. On the malt front, things are well balanced and provide some caramel and biscuit support to the hops. With a chompy medium body and mid carbonation, this brew, packaged otherwise would convince me it was from a "craftier" brewery. Props to Moosehead for taking some time on this one.

Bottle. Amber pour with an off-white head. Surprisingly aromatic for a "commercial" beer, with decent grapefruit and spruce hop notes alongside your traditional Moosehead graininess. The beer is somewhat lacking in the taste department, however, and has a rather thin body. Still quite drinkable and pleasantly surprising.

Crystal clear amber body with a foamy/creamy thin head which lingered nicely leaving good lacing. Caramel on the nose with some toffee and grassy hop aroma. Medium bodied with a sessionable-level percieved bitterness. Well balanced, but not too exciting, there’s a lot of similar beers to this. A little stuffed up, bot not really getting any of the advertised citrus hop character.
