bottle (blue label). Poured clear, pale, straw coloured with a diminishing white head. Light grainy, slight citrus aroma. Crisp light mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Flavour is typical mass produced. Sweet grainy and slightly dry. Nothing special except that this is the cheapest beer available at "The Beer Store".

Niagara Brewing Company version of this with the red part of the label replaced with blue. Light golden colour with white head that was quick to go. Carbonated. Aroma is faint grass. Flavour is crisp grass like. Watery body. Not offensive.

[1942-20090114] 355mL can. Metallic yeast hay aroma with fresh plastic notes. Clear, bright yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head and a pillar of central bubbles. Floral yeast flavour has light hay and a fruity aftertaste. Light body. Not entertaining.

2009-01-14. Crisp pale yellow body witha surprisingly decent white head on pouring but it fades quickly. Mild aroma, grassy hops over industrial pale malt. Flavour is similar, dilute malts are a touch washed out and astringent, barely there hops, grassy notes grow as it goes. Average to thin palate. Overall impression is that they ask the malts for more than they could give. I swear I heard the can go ’tick’ as I opened. Can from NB Liquor, Fredericton

Bottle-Pale yellow pour unleashes a large frothy whit cap that is short lived. The aroma is pale malts and grains with creamed corn. Sweet taste of corn and grains lead to a slight hop like bite towards the finish. I don’t know that we need another beer like this in Ontario.

It’s as though Moosehead isn’t sure they want to be associated with this beer. On the can, you have to read the fine print to find out. What can you say about a beer that tastes like almost nothing?

My brother brought a few down to try. The lightest tasting light beer from the Maritimes. That should count for something? Very light taste, dry and little bitterness. Not much there.
