COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
James Ready Honey is a smooth, full-bodied ale aged longer to accentuate its distinct taste. A hint of genuine honey gives it an understated sweetness.

I am drinking this beer right now in an apartment in hamilton. I am typing this rating from a laptop. The mouse is wireless. If I look at the bottom of the mouse it has a green light. The typing on the keyboard is really comfortable. But you know if your reading this thinking that your going to rate this and you read my rating of it. Your not going to get much more then this speil.

2nd macro beer offered at the K-W crapfest of bad beer. Crystal clear, food color amber, disappearing head, fizzy with little aroma aside from a synthetic saccharine-like cloying. Any detectable grains or hop is obliterated by this overpowering, sickly sweetening they dose this bland concoction with. Stinging harsh synthetic sweetness in a fizzy body....pretty much shite in a bottle.

Bottle (341ml). Courtesy of blankboy. Deep clear amber, fizzy bright white diminishing head. Smells like candy and paper - I don’t get honey, I get weeds soaked in maple sap. The taste is ... ergh ... harshly sweet, metallic and nastier as it warms. Thin, fizzy mouthfeel, ugly sweetness lingers harshly - even for a cheap Canadian honey beer this kind of sucks.

bottle. pours golden/amber with a quick lived off white head. the honey is in the nose along with slight hops and malt. flavours are tight with a little sweetness coming through near the finish. a solid investment at a buck a beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear, very bubbly gold with an average size diminishing white head. Very mild aroma of grain, sugar and corn. Flavour’s pretty sweet and watery with some slightly cloying honey, grain and some faint hops in the finish. Light to medium bodied. This is really poor stuff.

Bottle- Good thing this is available in Ontario now, as there aren’t enough honey lagers that please me. It’s golden pour is topped with a short lived, fizzy white head. Candy-ish aromas, grain, maybe some bread, with corn. Tastes fairly sweet with faux honey, adjuncty grainyness, bread crust, creamed corn. FInishes almost cloyingly sweet, stale. Thanks to Joe at TBS for the hook up!
