| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Pours pale gold with a 3 finger foamy white head that actually has good retention. Aroma is sweet malt, adjunct, grass, and slightly skunked hops. Flavor is one of the weakest of any beer I have had but fairly inoffensive. Vaguely sweet malt, a little grass and a grassy saltine cracker finish. blutt59 (2091), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 4, 2009 I think this was what I thought "beer" was as a little kid because I seem to remember it being the first one I ever tried. It’s "aboot" the same thing as Heineken (notice the Canadian there): standard pale lager, light hops, a little metallic. Yellow appearance, a little watery but clean-tasting. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 2, 2009 12 oz bottle purchased at the grocery store. Poured a clear yellow color with a thin white head. The aroma was grain and corn. The flavor had grassy notes, but not much else. Mehmet22 (32), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jan 30, 2009 Updated: Feb 26, 2009Bottle. Leans toward a sort of spiciness with a macabre sweet finish - not quite balanced. Watery mouthfeel. Honestly...I am not quite sure what hops are being used...but it leaves a lingering bitterness - sort of like the same effect of smoking a cheap cigar. Bitter for a lager. However priced competitively to domestic lager. altonbrownd (1888), Amsterdam, Netherlands
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 27, 2009 Bottle from Bier Koning. Pale golden body, big head. Skunky nose. Taste of grass, corn and straw. Pretty watery. Mediocre. fredthecat (186), Canada
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Jan 26, 2009 skunked to the max, watery, unpleasantly off, corny taste. smell like walking by a sewer (not an exaggeration) with a long gritty harsh finish. this beer is incredible, a perfect example of how most people’s tastes seem to be the 180 degree opposite of what is pleasant and good value. my most hated canadian beer brand considering it is so damn expensive and popular. illidurit (872), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 21, 2009 Pour: 12 oz bottle to pint glass. Clear pale straw color with a decently formed white head. Even leaves some lacing.
Nose: No skunk, just plain ol’ corn and grain.
Mouth: Surprising heft of flavor. Not as watery as your average pale lager. Lightly toasted cereal grains with a touch of adjunct sweetness. Inoffensive. Semidry, sort of slimy and astringent on the palate. High drinkability, low desirability.
