COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth clean-tasting lager that offers a good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness

UPDATED: OCT 7, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation. A little cleaner than other big-name Canadian beers, but just as bland.

I hate green bottles! Watery taste - there is a good reason that bars always seem to have Moosehead on special.

dissapointing beer from the ’oldest brewery in canada’

Easy and clean lager, interesting story from a canadian is to mix it with labatt 50/50. Havent tried it yet but can it get any worse?

Better than Labatt/Molson swill, but not something I’d buy.

It was kind of weak. Not a lot of substance or flavor. A slight carbonation ’kick’. It wasn’t unpleasant, just not the beer that I would reach for first if I had a choice.

I like Moosehead occasionally but if I had to drink it everyday I’d sober up.

Slightly sweet apple notes (or maybe it was the green bottle-ugh), but bottom line nothing struck me about this beer that would make me want to try it again. Luckily I didn’t get a skunky bottle.
