COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth clean-tasting lager that offers a good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness

Green bottle=crap. Bland, unexciting flavor with little to no aroma, at least none worth mentioning. Drinkable, but easilt passed up.

Had it on the airplane from a can - better than the alternatives. Not skunky at least. Watery, etc.

Moosehead is a good daily beer. Not anything for special occasions, but a good one to have with dinner in front of the tv.

Two equally important questions: where’s the rest of the moose and where’s the rest of this beer?

I used to love it but since I’ve grown up it’s sort of lagged behind me. Nice tasting lager that can be a bit nauseating if not taken seriously. Could be a bit more bitter for my tastes but still... Not too bad. Good to drink when camping and thinking about the hunt. Otherwise, who the heck orders this stuf in a bar?

Nice Logo, but I like Alpine much better. This is not bad for the style.. I hate Galena hops..

Smells OK, Looks OK, tastes OK.. yawn.... boring. Still, there is alcohol in it so I’ll finish it. Hey, it’s good for belches - nice bubbly ones, not much longevity, but a good bit of body (I’m talking about the belch still). Go buy one.. then get a real beer.

Nice hoppy smell. Golden, fluffy head. Good bitterness, sweetness follows. Mellow, plenty of carbonation. Pretty good.

Pale straw coloured and quite syrupy for the style. Not much bitterness...or sweetness. Uninspired.

Spilt a pack with some Candian friends on the train home from New York. I argued that it wasn’t the greatest beer ever. They were offended. Decent stuff though.
