A very popular beer here in Ontario, as well as parts of the U.S. Made in Canadas oldest and largest independant brewery.......I love it.

Probably one of the best beers, maybe the best, that I’ve ever consumed. If it werent so expensive, I’d get it all the time. When I was 16, I got to drink a lot of it because some supermarket in the area had a deal where you could buy 2 6-packs for $5. Needless to say I was a very happy teeny bopper... and I havent been able to afford it regularly ever since.

UPDATED: DEC 29, 2003 Pale golden color with a small white head. Nose is sweet and grassy. Flavor is lightly sweet and grassy with a light spicy hop finish. Drinkable if ice cold. It is in a green bottle, so get it in a sealed 12 pack that has not been exposed to light or it will be skunky.

I had friends in college from Canada, so I always had them introducing different beers to me from there nation. One of them loved this beer, but I have never been that impressed with it. I found the taste, mouthfeel and smell not very good at all

Short-lived flavour with hints of apples. But a beer with a moose on the label is always cool!

Not too impressive. Fairly skunky aroma with a bland flavor. No good qualities to mention. Very weak.

Decent light styled Canadian beer. I prefer it over Molson’s and such as it seems to have more body and flavor. Nice little hoppy/skunky bite to it. Not bad.

This is almost as drinkable as the Labatt’s Ale, but is a tad shy of that mark. Moosehead’s the sort of beer you drink on pledge night at your fraternity when Heineken’s not available.
