UPDATED: APR 12, 2013 Ok for a major beer when comparing with other major beers but is still rather bland. Nothing special about it in taste.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 kramer (3880) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 2, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear pale straw yellow body with a small fizzy white head that fell to a thin film. The nose is pretty minimal, just a light touch of corn and a slight perfumy note. Pretty agreeable aroma as far as Pale Lagers go. The flavor is pretty clean and showing minimal off flavors from the adjuncts. There’s no sign of hops at all in this one, a slight bit of soapiness on the late finish. Light bodied and fizzy with a watery texture. There isn’t a whole lot about this that’s positive, but at least there aren’t a ton of flaws and off flavors.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 patlab (13) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 16, 2013
Smooth beer that is quite generic and doesn’t really offer any unique flavours. Good beer to have on hand, but not for any special occasions.

Clear light golden with no real nose and typical pissy lager taste. Drinkable but in no way anything special.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 McTapps (1489) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - MAR 12, 2013
Clear light golden-yellow colour with low head and thin body. Nose of malt. Taste of medium-bitter hops, low malt, bitter orange peel, grass and hay. Might be quite refreshing during summer time.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 unstablefable (210) - SCOTLAND - MAR 2, 2013
Pours clear golden with no head, no carbonation, aroma not much. Crisp malts. Taste is quite sweet, caramel, tiny salty caramel notes. Rocky start but not bad
0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 Benfi (292) - DENMARK - FEB 23, 2013
At least it tastes better than it smells. Really ripe with skunk... honestly it was touch or go for a minute. Tastes sweeter than expected and no bitterness at all. Just a sweet malty, sort of corn syrup like lager. I’ll finish this one, but no more.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 lotsalaughs (104) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 18, 2013
bread, grass, citrus, dough, skunky, pale, clear, frothy, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, lively, bitter, long finish
Drink this one cold and fast - it’ll turn on you. Pale gold pour with white large bubbly foam. Mostly grass aroma, but some doughy bread and citrus. Half way through, skunky and metallic. Not much flavour except for a light metallic bitterness and a bit of a sourness. Thin and watery with fizzy carbonation. Bitter aftertaste is again marred with metal astringency. Maybe a problem with the tap here? Will have to try bottle someday.

Drink Moosehead ice cold and don't think too much about it. Few more words.
