| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 5, 2009 A pretty tame beer by any standards, which I think proves its purpose. It goes down easy enough, but is also interesting to the tongue, for those who enjoy more complex brews than most mass-produced lagers.
Fairly sweet, with a nice aroma, Moosehead never fails to please as a relaxed, enjoyable brew. Will not knock anyone’s socks off, but in a good way. This is one to share! DeanF (293), Paris, France
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Bottle at The Great Canadian Pub in Paris. Aroma has fruity hints, some grain, along with a sneaking suspicion of unwashed armpit. Head goes away fast, and looks like any other average lager afterwards. But the flavour is all right, with malts, barley, and many fruit notes with a sweet finish. Fratto (691), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Sep 13, 2009 Updated: Oct 31, 2009Sample from September 11, 2009 Beer Club Meeting. Wow, I can’t believe, in the run of great beers I’ve rated lately, that I’m rating Moosehead. Ah, well. Anyway, it was super clear, almost like a champagne. Head... well, there was a head. I think. Smells like something reminiscent from my past... freshman year of college, maybe? Flavor of an American lager. Sucky, actuallly. Like stale water. Spab (257), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 12, 2009 On tap. Pours a clear yellow gold with medium sized head. Nose of grass and corn. Similar notes in taste but with a bit of a bitter finish. Pretty underwhelming, but a step up from the Canadian macros. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Avg duration. Astringent finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Spare lacing. brenn79 (159), Idaho, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Aug 31, 2009 bottle- FIRST DRINK- Skunky and disgusting, terrible. LAST DRINK- Believe it or not, it gets worse, this beer is as close as an unfinishable beer as i have tried, but of course i still finished it. poisoneddwarf (163), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Aug 30, 2009 12 oz bottle. I imagine a skunk’s arsehole tastes somewhat like this. This is without a doubt one of the worst beers I’ve ever had, and definitely the worst beer I’ve rated since signing up on this website.
