None of the beers brewed at Moosehead stand out, are particularly good, aren’t skunky, etc. If you are going to drink crap, choose Moosehead. It is yet to let me down!

Ehhh this is one of those beers you might think is really good if you didn’t know anything about beer (see: Heineken). Had this last night... I’d take Yueng given the choice.

Bottle. Nice aroma as it’s poured into my glass. Looks watered down a bit, and has a nice finish to it. Nothing too special about this.

Love the aroma. Probably my favorite beer during high school over 20 years ago. A light head last to the finish. A balanced flavor with a smooth finish. Nothing about this beer, except for the aroma, really sticks out. Easy to knock a six of these down.

So this was the only unrated beer left for me at McCoy’s in Minnesota. Transparent golden colour, thin head with a watery aroma. I couldn’t detect any hops, and felt as though I was drinking an undercarbonated, overly sweet juice of some kind. I can see how people might like this, as it is very one sided on the flavour, but it sure was dissapointing for me.

Moosehead is not a fantastic beer, but I love it! Has a golden color with little head. Aroma is dank and musty with citrus overtones. It is very carbonated and tastes somewhat citrusy and skunky with a bitter aftertaste. Good beer to finish a burger eating contest with.

From a bottle. Pours amber with little head, and gives off a faint skunk odor. Unimpressive bitter and sour flavor with some faint hop and fruity notes. Little aftertaste. Tastes like skittles if you drink it immediately after a Michelob Ultra.

Un simple lager pale avec un goût non imposant (en bouteille). Elle serait peut-être meilleur en fut, car c’est bouteille verte.
