Nothing too impressive going on here; leaves much to be desired. I was disappointed in this beer because an associate told me this was his favorite beer. He hasn’t had one in many years, so I guess it’s true what they say...absence makes the heart grow fonder. I will not be choking this down again any time soon.

Bottle for New Brunswick!!! Skunky aroma. Just a little more color than the basic issue pale lager yellow. Soda pop head fades quickly and leaves no lacing. Very thin and watery consistency. Flavor is a mish-mash of weak malt and hop.

Well, I had to try it. I knew it would provide my first New Brunswick beer, so I had my eyes out for it, and when I saw a single at the grocery store...that was that. Yellow with a big white head and fast-moving carbonation in the body. Skunky and slightly sweet aroma. A hint of fruit in the flavor (raspberry/cherry) but mostly just yucky sweet and with a hint of malt. After just a bit of carbonation burn-off the palate goes limp, though the body still has that sweet coating quality to try to hold it all together. Not very nice, but what can you expect.

Clear gold with a foamy, white head that leaves a nice lace on the glass. Noble hop aroma, but very faint and with notes of pepe le pieu. Lacking in flavour, but some noble hops and malt detected. Clean finish. Light body and very much carbonation.

Its the "Miller Lite" of Canada. On one side, for a lager it is pretty damn good with a sweet malt finish. It goes down easy, but that is mostly because it tastes like the watered down American light beers. bitterness is 1.5/10. Good for the bong!

A good QUANTITY beer. This is what to drink when you’ve already had 6 great beers an just want to add to your buzz. Better than Molson or Labatt’s. Ask for this in Ontario an they’ll look at you funny. It’s a regional beer in Canada.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2007 Ah good ole Moosehead. I used to drink a lot of this back in my college days. It was one of my preferred beers back then. Of course that was over a decade ago and tastes certainly do change. I doubt that I have had this beer since those bygone days. Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer pours a medium amber color with a small white head that fades quickly. The aroma is sour malt and had your typical macro characteristics. The flavor is sour, tangy and reasonably malty. There is a light sweet malt finish. For a macro I find this one still to be surprisingly drinkable but certainly not a beer I would seek out.

I’m not going to lie to you. I don’t like this beer. It’s bland and boring and smells bad and isn’t really much worth drinking.

The initial aroma of this beer isn’t very good. I don’t usually like lagers but moosehead has a solid sweet taste. It was light but still had a lasting taste.
