From bottle. Pours a golden, clear hue with a white head. Aroma of malt, hops and grass. Light sweet, light bitter, light malt end, boring ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

341ml bottle served in weizen glass right out of the fridge: Here is a lager found quite easily in Québec. It’s mostly found sold in bottle format and I never saw a bar or brew offering it on draft. I first encountered this beer in 2005 when I worked in the bar industry. Well then, you get a clear stray coloured robe with lots of micro carbs topped by not more than a finger of white foam. The head shrinks at a fair speed to leave nothing but a fractured layer. I did spot some rough dotted lacing but it doesn’t stay. The nose is at first sweet and hoppy but soapy features are also present and do come through. On the tongue, this lager is sweet, malty and finishes with grassy hops. It has a good density so it does win some points there if you ask me. I don’t really like sweet and watery lagers, so when it at least has body, that’s close enough. It’s also just a bit sharp and it leaves a cauliflower aftertaste you might not be looking forward to.

355 ml can from a 15-pack from Liquor Depot, served in an undimpled mug. Pours light golden yellow with fine, very active carbonation and a head of large white bubbles that soon settle to reveal a little lace filigree. Aroma is moderately corny and grainy, with the familiar citrus of a light lager. Flavor is mildly sour and generally malty. The carbonation continues throughout, assuredly leading to heavy gassiness. The mouthfeel is a bit more substantial than expected, and the astringency lingers a few seconds too long. Uninspired, and with hints of unpleasantness, this lager straddles the area between below average and not recommended, a sad assessment to make about "Canada’s Oldest Independent Brewery".

Bottle. Generic cheap lager skewing towards the sweet end of the spectrum. Pretty clean and drinkable so not terrible for what it is.

Pale gold with a white crisy head. Smells of pale malt and hops. Crisp thin body. Tastes of basically nothing, with grain and soft hops. Boring pale lager.

Pours a clear light golden with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of straw, grass and corn. Pretty much your usual macro lager. Taste is of really faint cereals and hay. Body is light and carbonation high and prickly, slightly watery. Boring.

"i’ve had it when it was drinkable, and at other times quite skunky. otherwise, typical macrobrewed pee pee water...maybe a touch above average, but that’s about it. Don’t buy."

Bottle (341 ml). Slightly hazy golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is of corn, skunk and herbal notes. Taste is what you expect from a Pale Lager in a green bottle. Light body. Medium carbonation. Grainy finish. Bland.

The first sip is absolutely shocking. The bitterness hits you first followed by the refreshing taste of water and a strongly metallic finish. Yuck.
