ran into an old high school buddy today who was carrying 12 mooseheads home.made a swift detour to the neighbourhood park and has a couple each. drank each 341 ml bottle in about 4 min,not because it was so good but because it was such a good memory. oh ya,the review...thought then/think now...better then your average north american pale lager and much better then your average north american pale lager is you liked the stuff in the 70’s and have not had it for more then 30 years.

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Can, thanks to Fiona. Bright clear gold beer, small white head. Thin sweet grainy malts. If there is any hop, it’s hiding well. Rough.

Draft at Epcot. Pours clear gold with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like corn, mild citrus, musky grains. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like corn, mild citrus and musky grains.

Can at Kenny 20k, thanks for this Juan @ new province I think, 15/01/16. Light golden blonde with a decent off White cap. Nose is pale malts, grain, straw, faint smoke, bread dough. Taste comprises pale malts, light citric essence, straw, bread, toasted grain. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for what it is.

Review: Bottle of Moosehead Lager: ABV: 5.0% The flagship brand is one of the most consumed beers in Canada Pours a really lovely clear golden yellow that produces a nice big frothy head which hangs around Is fizzy, a lot of good carbonation, A pretty clean lovely looking beer Aroma: Real lager smell, hoppy, sweet and lovely, liked it, the light grains and malty aromas. Nice Taste: Extremely smooth beer, very easy to drink, such a shame I only got the two bottles as I would have easily devoured a 6 pack of these no problem. Very creamy on tongue No real strong stand out flavours per say, couldn’t really taste the hops, but nice all the same I did, though, get nice big mouthfuls of barely and malts. Very smooth finish, not a heavy beer, very refreshing, I like it. So overall I liked it. Looks good, smells good, tastes good and very smooth, and clean and crisp. That’s all the boxes ticked, and its a beer I will pick up again. I wasn’t expecting much from a Canadian beer, so it was nice to be pleasantly surprised. Definitely a beer for a sporting occasion on a hot day, very sessionable.

Meh. Looks like it tastes: Watery, fizzy, generic. Not unpleasant but nothing special. Good hot weather beer. You can bang back a half dozen without really noticing. Like Natty light, but without the complexity......

Clear yellow pour with a fast fizzy head. Corn and barley aroma. Unusual sweet note, corn, slightly metallic finish. Watery body so you can pound em back with verve. What 41 Celsius will drive a man to do.

Sweet corny pale lager. Slightly metallic taste as a bonus. I like the label.

Very little aroma with a few bitter notes. Clear yellow lager with white head. Head vanished quickly. Medium carbonated. Watery taste with some sweet malt.

A good beer to drink when you want to sit back and relax. Has a good flavour but not too strong. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
