ran into an old high school buddy today who was carrying 12 mooseheads home.made a swift detour to the neighbourhood park and has a couple each. drank each 341 ml bottle in about 4 min,not because it was so good but because it was such a good memory. oh ya,the review...thought then/think now...better then your average north american pale lager and much better then your average north american pale lager is you liked the stuff in the 70’s and have not had it for more then 30 years.

Bread, hay, skunky, smoke, woody, smells. Pale, clear off yellow color with white foam head. Light sweetness, lightly bitter and lightly sour hops. Light body, thin feel, average carbonation, bitter, long finish. An ok beer.

Think Heineken and you have the Canadian version here. Very light pale yellow in colour with a nice white head at the start but disappears very quickly. Little to no real nose to open your senses and the palate follows suit, Lightly malted with a small touch of hops and slight bitterness lingering on the back of the tongue . Nothing to really bring you back, however a thirst quencher on a hot summers day

Bottle in Chevy Chase. Amber body with thin head. Nose sweet and malty. Taste quite corny, not a terrific beer. Lots of hops and a good malt balance but rather banal really. Okay.

Pours a light golden yellow color with a thick head a medium carbonation. Aroma is a light lager with a hit of hops. Taste is that of a light lager, smooth taste but leaves mouth really dry.

A clear yellow. Smells faintly of cereal, hint of hops. Taste is sweet, moderately bitter - a decent but not noteworthy lager.
