ran into an old high school buddy today who was carrying 12 mooseheads home.made a swift detour to the neighbourhood park and has a couple each.
drank each 341 ml bottle in about 4 min,not because it was so good but because it was such a good memory.

Malt and pale alcohol taste. Pale corny smell. Enjoyed right from the bottle. Drank nostalgically, thanks dad.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
shared by some Canadians at Bills tailgate. Cool logo but this beer is not the best Canada has to offer. Not a whole lot happening a bit of corn sweetness slightly bitter finish. It gets the job done

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: pours a thin 1/2" white head that recedes quickly with no lacing. Color is a clear straw/light golden with abundant carbonation streaming.
Aroma: a grassy aroma dominates with some toasted barley and a faint hop aroma.
Mouthfeel: light and crisp with a dry finish.
Flavor: malty sweetness dominates, slight bit of lemon, and a mild hop flavor in the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
When it comes to beer priced at average levels, I skip the Buds and such and go for Canadian macros. They are cleaner tasting, refreshing and frankly, the hangover is less "sticky".
Moosehead is an example of a good Canadian macro. The only American macro I bother with is PBR, due to the cheap price while being better than regular priced American macros. If the standard priced US macros mimicked Canadian style, Iíd be more apt to spend my dollars in the States. Címon Coors, you can remove the skunk from the vat!
Moosehead isnít first rate, but its a great way to teach those who drink the watery American brews to find pleasure in something finer.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a light gold color with a decent white head. Slightly skunky nose. Almost euro lager like. A little sweet on the palate with a bit of grain and a slight bitterness. Finishes pretty clean. Canít see why I used to drink a bunch of these back in the day.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
12 oz. bottle. I donít know what unseen forces coerced me to try this after not rating it for so long, but here goes. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor are not good; grainy, cereal, grassy with some skunky notes. Lighter bodied and a bit watery.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
A macro lager that lacks body & flavour. Not the worst beer Iíve had but not one I would by.
