Light gold in color with moderate visible carbonation. Very little head and no lace. Some bite but very little in the way of discernable hops. Decent for an American Standard. Ethereal (1710), London, Greater London, England

I thought when I was younger, much younger, that this was better than Molson so I would buy it. Now I realize I was right but sure wasing missing out on what else was available. Skunky aroma but otherwise light and refreshing. theisti (1699), Leawood, Kansas, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 26, 2005 Pours with a two-finger white head that fades quickly leaving traces of lace. Clear amber color. Light carbonation and light bodied. Slight hoppy/skunky nose. Starts with a mix of hops and sweetness, finish is clean, better than American lagers. $1.50 for a 12oz green bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma. hayduke (1692), Eureka, California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 26, 2008 This is one of those beer of youth that comes in kind of wanting in my old age. Pours a clear straw color with quick forming and quick disappearing head and light lacing. Nose of caramel malts and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is kind of flat and watery. Flavor is somewhat sweet and the finish is skunky.
