COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth clean-tasting lager that offers a good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness

This used to be my favorite beer (I was born in Canada) and I hadn’t drunk any in quite a while. I did my best to suppress any prejudices in favor of it; even so, I found it rather pleasant to drink. Color is a typical golden-yellow, not much head. Aroma is sharp and malty. The crisp, malty taste is not complex but is refreshing. It definitely has an "edge" to the flavor and mouthfeel that most lagers lack. This is a good party beer.

I can’t believe I haven’t rated this one. I thought when I was younger, much younger, that this was better than Molson so I would buy it. Now I realize I was right but sure wasing missing out on what else was available. Skunky aroma but otherwise light and refreshing.

Not as good as I recall. Smell is a bit skunky, but not so much in the flavor. Poured with a nice fluffy white head and some lace. Lovely golden color. Huge grain flavor like unfermented sweetness and taste.

Bottle: Big white foamy head disappears quick. Typical pilsner smell and look. Taste, when cold enough, it’s surprisingly fresh. Malts, hops, spices and water. Good enough for a lager.

Clear pale yellow colored beverage with a small white fizzy head. Malty aroma. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium body, smooth mouthfeel.
