Another nice label, pity about the beer. Poured a pale gold with irregularly large bubbles failing to form a head. Aroma was of dish-washing water after the cleaning the kitchen, an unpleasant skunkiness that made you think twice. Palate was not as expected with some sweet malt, overall dry feel with a light body and medium carbonation, and a crisp dry finish. Taste of grassy hops, cardboard mid-palate and sour apple skins made for a beer to get drunk from, and not enjoy.

2009 Bottle - Pours a light, pale straw with a medium white head...aroma is lager skunk, sour grain...flavour is light with the slightest bitterness, finishes malty and sweet...another one to cross off the list...

Moosehead has little aroma. The color is a light golden with a small rapidly diminishing white head. There is little taste except for some slight bitterness and not much aftertaste.

One of my favorite lagers for no incredibly astute reason. It goes down smooth, and has a bit of a skunky aftertaste, but I don’t mind it at all.
