Really, this is a pretty bad beer. Youíve really got to strain to sense any sort of defining characteristics other than bland mediocrity. Itís kind of pretty to look at, a clear straw colour, and thereís a bit of a malty flavour with a slight bitterness, but it is truly a beer that demands nor expects any consideration or attention.

I have fond memories of drinking this stuff while watching the sun go down in the Southern Utah desert. A touch skunky...but good if ice cold and other conditions are right.

"iíve had it when it was drinkable, and at other times quite skunky. otherwise, typical macrobrewed pee pee water...maybe a touch above average, but thatís about it. Donít buy."

Bottle (341 ml). Slightly hazy golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is of corn, skunk and herbal notes. Taste is what you expect from a Pale Lager in a green bottle. Light body. Medium carbonation. Grainy finish. Bland.

The first sip is absolutely shocking. The bitterness hits you first followed by the refreshing taste of water and a strongly metallic finish. Yuck.

350ml bottle. Pours clear and very pale with very small, foamy head that quickly disappears. Taste is surprisingly sweet for a pale lager. Not bad

330ml bottle at shanghai brewery (china). Yellow colour. White head. First impression : watery, bubbles, weeds smell and taste.

Moose head is best served very cold out of a glass bottle instead of can. pretty descent pale lager for the price at $9.99 a 12 pack Rite aide. definitely an option for grads on a budget as its cheaper than Budweiser with a heck of a lot more flavor. Not sure why such a overall low rating. Perhaps being judged against better but again note the price point on the higher scoring Pale lagers. Pale lager also can be confused with strong pale lager Here just a average C+ to B- grade. merchants often store hot then throw in the fridge as needed which canít help much and explains some of the inconsistent stale flavors however still a nice inexpensive choice for a afternoon fishing trip at the lake in hot weather. Recall tasting better bottlingís in years past however out of the mid grade market and choices including price pretty respectable overall. Coors light ,Budweiser, miller, all in a can no less apparently ranked better despite being more expensive than Moose head on Sale? From the Canadian collection Alpine Lager brewed by Moosehead LTD won the 2013 Canadian brewers association lager gold yet got an 11 overall here? This means we must not have much faith in our Canadian brewing friends taste buds if the rating holds true.

Pour out of bottle, miller lite coloration. Aroma of freshly cut cedar sap. Little head. Flavor is tremendously better than any nascar beer ive had tell you what. Corn, malt, honey, sap. Best college beer around.

Draft and bottle. Pale gold pour with a thin white head. Mild grass and cereal aroma. Taste follows, fairly mild. Light body. Prefer this to some other pale lagers but not exceptional.
