A smooth clean-tasting lager that offers a good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness

350ml bottle from the Romsey Beer Emporium. A paleish corn pour with a billowing white head; sweet cereal grain aroma with a touch of grassy hops; sweet corn syrup taste; with nothing in the way fo bitterness; and a rasping metallic finish. I had good memories of this from trips to Canada some years ago - but they are now shattered.

Pours yellow golden. Well done lager, with slight malty aromas and dry finish.

Overall I really like this beer. I don’t find it bad tasting like some people say. The only downside it is a little pricey for what it is. I got a 28 on sale at the beer store for the same price as a 28 of Budweiser. Great beer.. higher price.

Dorada, clara, limpia, burbujeante, de espuma blanca. Cereal en el aroma, escaso. Gas notable en el trago. Textura suave, de tono cereal, algo dulce con contrapunto de amargor moderado. Muy bebible.

From Club del Gourmet of El Corte Ingles. In Ikea’s pilsner glass. Warching Zombie diaries. Typical industrial lager. Nothing special here. Not worth more than a few cents.

My first Canadian beer was this. Or Molson. But this is my favorite. You can tell this is a finely brewed ale from the first sip. Someone loved and nurtured this recipe. You definitely know your drinking good brew from the first sip. If you haven’t had it, get it.

355ml bottle. Clear golden yellow colour with a small white head. Light citrus hops and malt aroma. Slightly sweet malty flavour. Quite heavy carbonation. Easy drinking but fairly average lager.

Bottle. Straw-golden colored with a small white smooth head. Grainy and spicy smell with light floral notes. Sweet taste with just a bit of bitterness is the finish. Light bready notes in flavor along with some spiciness. However not much aroma or flavor in general. Straightforward with a light body and high carbonation. Light sweet and short finish. Quite common lager but definitely not the worst.

This lager is a well known brand among Canadian lagers. Its foam is nice and partly sustained while from the glass sends a good aroma of hop and a little citrus. It does not have so much to offer in terms of taste, but in return it is very pure in its style. It is almost more than 100% type really, but in a way that almost makes it too boring. Very light malt filling, a sufficiently portion hop can not scare anyone away and a light floral sweetness. Fine thirst quencher, but nothing more.
