A smooth clean-tasting lager that offers a good balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness

Very good. Nice and smooth, attacks your tongue with a beautiful blend of light hops and lager taste.

on tape. Pours a clear gold with little head. Not much of any aroma; light malts and corn syrup. Flavors of corn and toasted malt. Not much different than any other Canadian industrial.

Bottle sample at the Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Ariel. Pours yellow with a nice head, aroma of malt, honey and corn, flavor of alcohol and chemical notes, light body

Bottle, clear, golden pour with a white head. Doesn’t smell that good and has a kind of cereal taste to it.

Bottle: What to say about this one that hasn’t already been said? Pale straw-yellow body, bone-white "head" that’s gone almost instantly. Huge skunky aroma, dusty grain, stale hops... Mostly skunk, though. Taste has notes of metal, old hops, dry grain, skunk, DMS, & mineral water. Overly prickly carbonation. Not a good beer, but I don’t really need to tell you that, do I?

This is a great summer beer with just enough fizz to bring the hops flavors out. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

350ml bottle from Gourmondo.de, clear sparkling gold colour, small fizzy white head, little lacing, Light malty aroma of corn and bisquit with light grassy and citric hops. Taste is initially moderately sweet and slightly bitter, turning into a short mildly bitter finish with a chalky feel. Light body, dry texture, lively carbonation. Quite a boring lager, refreshing but not particularly tasty nor interesting. On the other hand, new country tick, 5% abv and goes down like mineral water when thirsty.

This is a quality Canadian beer. Great flavor and nice taste. One of my favorite Canadian beers.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, getreidig, leicht süß. Geschmack wässrig, leicht malzig getreidig, minimal herb.

Pored from a bottle. Skunky smell with a note of grass or hay. Golden color, with a bland average lager taste that was better than the smell. When I smelled it, it smelled a lot like Heineken which is one of my least favorite beers. After a couple of sips it’s not to bad, Being from NY right next to Canada, I am 40 and have been seeing this around since I was 10 or 11 and just never tried it yet. Its not as good as Labatt’s or Molson, but is better than Old Vienna, another popular Canadian brew. For the price and availability I would drink it again.

Clear gold colour, decent head at 1/2 inch but adjunct in quality and duration. Slightly hoppy aroma, notes of skunk. Decent hop crispness, mouth feel is very light aside from carbonation. The malts really fall down in quality of flavour and in providing balance. What remains is a slightly bitter, watery, and gassy beer that’s not very pleasant to swallow.
