Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, jerc & mabel -- c/o GregClow. Pours a clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of grain and somewhat artificial lime. Very watery flavour of your typical macro Light beer mixed with fake lime. It is what it is. Meh.
1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 Spab (1196) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2010
341 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear straw yellow with small white head. Nose is pure lime, but it’s a decent lime, not as synthetic as some of these lime lagers. Taste has a bit of generic lagerness to it but mostly a surprisingly bland, slightly sour lime. Very light body; watery. Ugh.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 garthicus (2090) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 2, 2010
Thanks (I guess!) to GregClow ;-) Appearance: Very light, light, yellow, wispy white head. Aroma: Like a Corona with synthetic lime juice mixed with imitation Sprite - the kind your Mom would buy when you were a kid, the type that came in huge 3 litre bottles from the Spar or whatever cheap store equivalent you North Americans have. Flavour: Like a bowl of cornflakes (but not the nice Kellogg’s ones, again - the rip off version from the thrift store) doused in pissy lime juice and some wet cardboard just to top this masterpiece off.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 GregClow (2667) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2009
Bottle. Light golden with a bright white head that disappears almost instantly. Noticeable lime notes in the aroma and flavour, but they don’t seem very natural, coming closer to the Sprite/green Kool-Aid character that I found in Bud Light Lime. There’s also a bit of beeriness going on, but that’s not really a good thing, as it smells and tastes of the sort of mass brewed lager that I generally make a point of avoiding. Pretty poor all around.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 29, 2009
2009-11-27. Pale yellow with a tiny white head. Huge powerful lime aroma, fresh lime juice. 7+ Flavour is quite mild, lime juice is light, touch of sprite like character. Light palate. Meh. Better than expected, but that is not saying much. The aroma is actually quite nice. Bottle shared by GregClow.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 mabel (4405) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 28, 2009
[2603-20091127] 341mL bottle. Half concentrated lime, half urinal puck cake aroma. Clear, pale white yellow body with a quick bubbly white head. Sweet lime juice cordial flavour. Light body. Blecch.
Overheard: "I like burning things." -- when asked why the ping pong ball was crushed and lit on fire.

3rd sample from our swill pack macro beer offered at the K-W crapfest of bad beer.
This one’s really vacant. Pale yellow, nonexistent head. Aromas of synthetic citus oils and adjunct sweetener. Weak, watery mouth feel, flavor almost identical to the smell - lime flavoing oils override the weak cereal and hop notes , some dextrin sweetness. fast, substanceless, dry...there, I did a lime macro, I don’t have to taste any more...can’t possible see how they’d differ from this swill..
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Strangebrewer (524) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 20, 2009
bottle. Poured clear, pale yellow with no head. Weak candied lime aroma. Average carbonation. Watery mouthfeel. Has the mass produced grain flavour with lime overtones. Slightly bitter finish. I guess everyone’s jumping on the lime beer bandwagon.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 rudolf (2245) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 16, 2009
Bottle from Greg. Thanks! Body is very clear light gold, thin white head. Nose is dominated by lime - but not fresh lime - that pseudo-lime flavor that commercial tortilla chips are sometimes coated with. Aside from the lime the aroma is dominated by soda water twang. Flavor is a bit of lime, some light american pils character - a bit of malt but no hop. The most redeeming characteristic is a nice pils malt that comes out in the finish & lingers before being overtaken by flat lime flavors.
