1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, 5%. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is a bit plasticky. Seems more like a plastic pale lager than an ale.

[1845-20081103] 341mL bottle. Vegetable corn meal and toasted yeast aroma. Clear, yellow brown body with a medium-lasting bubbly white head. Corn and toasted yeast flavour with watery grains. Light-medium body. Not bad but expecting a more bitter pale.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a light yellow... pale ale??? With a small white head. Corny grassy aroma with some notes of apple, and saaz hops. Tastes sweet, corny... some musty notes and apple from the saaz, some spice, and a hint of grain. Mouth feel is fairly mainstream. Really not a pale ale, more like a pale lager... maybe a pilsner but not a pale ale. There is no mineral notes, too pale, no complexity. Pass on this one.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
[34.1cl bottle] Clear, pale golden colour with a blonde foamy white head. Slightly sweet and grainy, slightly papery nose with minimal sourish fruity accents of apricots, apples, which fade quickly and a gassy, slightly skunky touch in the wings. Light-bitter flavour, slim bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Slim malty base with a shy fruity touch. Light-bitter and slim finish with a light and slightly assertive tartness. Reminds me somewhat of a bland Kölsch [11.XII.08].

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Golden yella beer with a tall rocky head, looks alright. Dusty weak aroma that is quite off-putting. Watery thin feel and flavour. Slightly grainy and sweet. Pretty bad.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This ale poured a light yellow colour with a bright white head. To the nose there is a metallic scent along with a sour hopp scent and ???? First taste was very watery with a mooth flavour of corn and malt. Finish was watery with a loght flavour of corn. Corporate muck!
