1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 EKGoldings (514) - Radford, Virginia, USA - DEC 12, 2007
Slight sweet malt taste along with corn, subdued hops that get slightly better as this warms up, but then metallic taste comes around and make drinking this cold a good choice.
1.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Kalli (502) - Falun, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2003 Sweetish fruity smell promises good from this unexceptional, except for much carbonation, looking ale.
Upon tasting I'm sure the beer has spoiled, since there is an overriding taste I can't quite identify quite like from a bottle of Newcastle I also thought spoiled.
Probably been too long on the shelf in the store, which is a pity considering the aroma. Will need to re-rate.
Re-rate: tried another bottle, this one relatively fresh from the box and same flavour spoils this. Maybe it's me, maybe it's the beer. Dunno, but it ends up in the drain either way.

Little foam, blonde/pale in color. Very light taste; a bit sweet and grassy/hay malt and hops. Drink it cold and forget it!

[bottle from LCBO in Iroquois Falls, ON]
Light copper with a white fuzz that falls to a wispy cover and ring. Aroma of mass-produced yellow beer with an extra zip of malt. Flavour more of the same: pissy yellow beer plus a little extra light caramel malt. Light body, medium carbonation, empty finish. Better than some but not by much.

Bottle 34,1 cl. Clear yellow with a dense white head. Aroma of brewing cereal. Medium body, malt and brewing cereal with an edge of cardboard. Dry finish with a subdued bitterness. 210309

poors pretty light gold with small head, nothing really impressive with this beer, pretty dull, was expecting a bit more I guess

Well with this pale ale, Moosehead sure puts the "pale" in the ale! Has vague hints of an ale in there but is incredibly watery, very little head, no noticeable aroma. Brownish body. I’ve certainly had better pale ales than this.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, brewing cereal and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Watery. 130511
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 MiP (12136) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 1, 2009
Bottle, 5%. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is a bit plasticky. Seems more like a plastic pale lager than an ale.

Golden and bubbly. Smell is not impressive. Tastes kind of washed out at first. Tastes like my Mom's homebrew. Non-dememo mouthfeel. Not good.
