COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Awarded the Silver Medal in 2003 in the Bock category, our deep-golden, medium-bodied lager gets its color, body, & sweet malt character from imported Vienna Malt. This beer has a crisper malt presence & more emphasis on hop flavor & aroma than our dark bock beer.

Pours a golden amber color with average head. Had a little bit of a malt scent but not too much. Had a really good taste as the malts were nicely mixed together for a smooth, clean finish making this beer rather tasty.

On tap at Moosejaw. Poured clear, very light amber with a nice sticky whitish head. The aroma picked up sweet honey and bready notes with lemon and less earthy highlights.. OK. The flavor found sweet caramel and bready notes at the core.. a hint of honey down there too.. quite bitter on the edges, sporting earth and a touch of citrus.. weird for a bock, but overall sweet and tasty. Medium-bodied with dense carbonation on the palate.. bitterness rose as it progressed.. not bad.

Great brewery in the Wisconsin Dells. This brew is a past winner of the silver medal at the Great American Beer Festival. It is a deep golden, medium-bodied lager which gets its color, body & sweet malt character from imported Vienna malt.

Thanks to skyview for sharing. Sweet syrupy nose on this dark brown pour with creamy white head. Vanilla on th nose with a watery wheat body.

From Skyview’s growler. One of the better bocks I have had anywhere. Tons of vanilla in the aroma, and sweet malt is a secondary though. A light orange, cloudy appearance. Flavor has caramel, sweet malt, and more vanilla. Thick and heavy on the palate.

On tap at the brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, pours a coppery brown brew with an average off-white head that dissolves to a fine lacing. Aroma of caramel, maple syrup, vanilla, and a touch of cotton candy. Taste is full body, lightly carbonated, sweet and a honey sweet aftertaste. Finish is smooth and creamy. Probably the best of all 10 sampled at the brewpub which rendered a growler order. Well done Jamie!

Dark golden with a small white head. Caramel, toasty grains, lemon peels, tangerine aroma. Diacetyl country: butterscotch is very heavy, rounded out by corn pollen and a light, crisp hoppiness. Finish is rather alcoholic.

I enjoyed this beer the most out of the 10 beer sampler I had. Euro-lagerish aroma, but faint. Light amber in color with a small, white ring of head and no visible carbonation. Not much lace either. After drinking 8 Moosejaw samples prior to this one, the Blonde Bock really provided a Wow! factor in the flavor department. Sweet and heavier in alcohol as a bock should be. Quite true to the style. The only knock I had was that it was a little cloying, but really a good effort overall.
