3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a medium amber color with an average head on it. Really didn’t have too much of a scent to it. Had a really good malt taste to it that finished rather nicely with a nutty after taste. Had a really good taste overall making for a decent beer.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the brewpub - Pours reddish amber with a tan head. Nose is lighy nutty with caramel sweetness and light herbal hopping. Taste is lightly sweet malt with the same nuttiness, but an odd butter and light sweet bread component. No hopping to speak of. Light and watery, with medium carbonation. Taste is definitely a let down with this one.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Served under the name "rustic red"
Off copper color, thin white head. Avg palate. Rich caramel flavor, quite sweet a bit of maple syrup in the finish. Very one dimensional and the sweet is a bit much, but not too bad. The aroma was really missing again on their beer, very light and grainy with some hints of caramel.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub, pours a clear red with an ok off-white foamy head. Musky taste - malts, tree root, bark at first, then caramel, apple, sweet toffee with an even balanced finish. Actually not a bad beer.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at Moosejaw. Poured medium iced tea brown with very little head. The aroma was soft with fruits, honey, and molasses leading.. some berries on the back. The flavor found sweet berries and other fruits along with molasses and caramel.. light fruity bitterness surrounded.. odd for an amber. Light-medium bodied with almost no perceptible carbonation on the palate.. not so good.
