2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On-tap @ the Brewpub.
Light brown color with orange highlights.
Aroma is mostly toffee malts and some subtle fruits as well.
In addition to the toffee/caramel flavor is a subtle fruit aspect which didn’t really do anything for me. The lack of any hop flavor is a bit disappointing, and leads to it being a bit too sweet for my taste, but the caramel malts are still tasty. Not one of the best beers from this brewpub.

This beer is yummy! Thin white head when poured. Hazy deep orange in color and looks very nice! This beer is smooth and just a little bit thicker than a basic beer, Tastes malty. Overall one of the best reds I ever drank! Yes I will have another!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at restaurant and brewery, pours a clear dark amberish red with an off white head, the aroma is more sweet than hoppy with a good amount of caramel and malt, the flavor is much of the same, more malt and sweetness than hops, not bad I suppose.

Very smooth flavor at first. Palate becomes bitter after several sips. Overall decent ale.
