Draft at OF. Thin, pale hazy yellow tan. Thin oily head. Wow, some weird stuff. Apparently thay thought lemon grass could overcome a schwaggy beer. This is hat you call a shitty WI microbrew. Thin yet still sugary, with a unnatural spicy lemon kick. Sub par nonsense.

[Tap] Pours a light yellow color with a light haze and a nice cap of white head. Aroma of grass, lemon zest, grains and mild hops. Similar notes in the taste, but more of a grainy character. Light hoppy finish. Light in body with high carbonation level. I actually would have enjoyed more of the lemongrass in here.

On draught at the Moosejaw brewpub in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden colored brew with a slowly dissipating off-white head that leaves behind some minimal lacing. Aroma of citrus and grassy hops, golden grain malt and a hint of honey. Taste is when the lemongrass flavor comes out with plenty of toasted golden grain malt and a hint of citrus hops. Finish has a slightly dry toasted golden grain malt aftertaste and a fast vanishing lemongrass flavor. I can see this do well for a Wisconsin fish fry on a hot summer day.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Ughsmash (6723) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2010
On tap at Moosejaw. Poured clear medium golden with a spotty white head. The aroma picked up sweet honey with hints of lemon and lemongrass. The flavor found sweet honey and lemongrass at the core.. sugary finish. Light-bodied and dry on the palate.. rather slick, but an OK feel and flow beyond that.. didn’t like this one so much.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 JMerritt (1688) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - AUG 5, 2010
On tap, July 22, 2010. Lightly hazy, light orange-golden with a medium-sized, off white head. Lemongrass nose is prevalent but not overly done. Moderate vanilla malts up front with lemongrass herbs dancing in and out. Flavor turns grainy, semi-sweet towards the end. Watery palate. Needs more malt sweetness and body; as is, a very watery, easy to drink light ale.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 weitz15 (379) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Light aroma, but no lemon presence. The flavor was similar. Light refreshing body, but no lemon or citrus. Disappointing.
2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jarow (237) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 27, 2010
On tap. Pours a clear light yellow. Nose is of lemony household cleaner with a bit of grassy malt thrown in. Not promising. Taste is actually more pleasant. Barely tastes like a beer, and the lemon flavor still seems a little like a cleaner, but there are some nice malts coming through, hops barely present. Overall not bad, although not something I’d want to try again.
