3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brassy color body topped by a nice head. Nose has a pleasant floral character, with flowery jasmine notes seemingly mixed in. Again, the body is floral as well as moderately bitter. The mouthfeel is creamy. Malty underpinning unveils with some warming and aeration.

Aroma: intense flowers, grass, pine, Earl Grey tea. Appearance: hazy gold, small, creamy, white head. Taste: medium bitter.
Palate: bitters intensify, grassy, floral hops, light, dry finish. Overall: hmm, OK ESB, but nothing to write home about. Pint at Moose’s Tooth Pub & Pizzeria Anchorage.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
6/19/2009: Looking for something different, I decided to go for the Moonflower ESB and I’m glad that I did. This medium-bodied, honey-colored beer has a beige head, a bright, citrusy hop aroma, and a great balance of caramel malts and bitterness (mild to mdoerate level) in the flavor. Another damn fine session beer with lots of great flavor!
Draught (sample) at The Moose’s Tooth in Anchorage, Alaska. Rating #13 for this beer.

[1689-20080906] Tap. Mild grains and mild fruit skin aroma. Slightly hazy, medium orange amber body with a medium-lasting creamy white head with some spotted lacing. Boozy grainy malt flavour. Medium-full body. Not bad, could drink a pint or more.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
2008-09-06. Orange amber body with a small white head. Light fruity character, pleasant bitterness. Aroma is similar light fruity hops. (6+) Average palate. Subtle, but this was quite nice and would make a great session brew. On tap at the brewpub.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Moose’s Tooth. Solid ESB, good balance of hops and malt. Copper in color with a good roasted malt taste and a citrus hop taste. Very drinkable, I don’t think it to be as IPA’ish as others have stated.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very nice ESB. Not too strong on the nose, but a clean noble hops and granny smith apples. Orangish appearence also quite nice. Flavor was fresh and inviting, very drinkable and I could have had a second. ESBs are under-appreciated. (On tap at the Beartooth Cinema Pub).
