Draught at a pub in Walls End. This is a pretty basic biter that goes down easy and allows you to go on for a pint or two. Nothing special.

Cask at The Quayside, Newcastle. Slightly hazy, so lost a point there, otherwise, this is a cracker of a pint. Packed with flavours of malt and citrus fruits, good long lasting finish. A fine session brew, shame I didn’t have time for a session!

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Pale gold with white head. Really hoppy, light session bitter with a good bittersweet character. Background is vanilla, ginger (Simon), biscuity. There is a lemony hop, ending dry. Good stuff.
2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bobinlondon (1214) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2008
Gravity cask at the Watford beer festival. Chestnut with deep lasting beige head. Green apple, bitter. Not a lot else to say. Green apple in mouth, acidic, citric hop finish. Probably not at its best as Mordue is a pretty good brewer. Touch of toffee
