Bottle, from brewery. Malty and sweet, creamy, as expected. Spices are subtle, however the creaminess comes back in late on, accompanied by a faint smokiness and flavours of cough mixture, raspberry and cherry. The alcohol is certainly there and the Workieticket origins of the beer are fairly obvious.

Cask, handpull at The Swan & Castle, JDW, Oxford 08.01.11 Pours dark amber with a white head. There is a certain richness to this, it’s a little creamy and smooth, fruity with some vanilla. Not a bad beer at all, slight late bitterness, tasty. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

Spoons. Slighty hazy amber - brown beer. Decent white head. Dry palate. Dry raspy malt. Fruity decent hop with a whisper of apple. Dry finish. Drinkable but the dry malt grates!

Quite a nice darkish bitter, not particularily festive, but produced to get the xmas drinkers interested, not a bad effort
