500ml bottle provided at lunch with my nephew and family. (Thanks, John), poured into an English pint. Hazy reddish brown with an offwhite head. Spicy and berry aroma. Toffee malt and Christmas spice in the flavour. Sweetness balanced by a nice bitter finish. Nice festive ale.

Cask. Christmas Eve. Dark reddish rusty ale. Off white creamy steady head. Aroma is mostly malt with a little hoppy grass and spice. In the mouth it's quite creamy and warm malts. A little toffee and then some nice spices. Not too heavy handed just a nice level to make it festive. A little clove, a hint of cinnamon. Rests easy on the palate with a nice warming level of spice. Very tasty.

Cask Conditioned gravity dispense Wig & Pen Northampton. A copper coloured beer with a ring of off-white head. A touch of cranberry like fruit in the nose but it’s quite plain otherwise. Drinkable and were it not for the fact that the stillage was outside in sub zero temperatures there might have been a really good beer in here.

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2007
Cask conditioned at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. Dark amber coloured. Grassy hops and general fruitiness in the aroma. Very dry and bitter flavour. Lingering hoppiness.
